To celebrate Tartan Day and Scotland Week, the CHICAGO SCOTS and the John David Mooney Foundation are pleased to host artist Andy Scott of Glasgow, Scotland. The artist created the Kelpies, large-scale public sculptures that have been installed adjacent to Chicago’s Field Museum. In Celtic mythology, the water horse is a common form of the kelpie, said to lure humans, especially children, into the water.
