Taqi Spateen is a contemporary painter and muralist, who received a 3 month Residency at the John David Mooney Foundation under our 'Artists at Risk' Program. Born in Husan, Bethlehem his work is inspired by the Palestinian countryside and the displacement caused by Settler expansion. This exhibition showcases a collection of paintings all produced during Spateen's Residency at the John David Mooney Foundation.
