Your Support

The Foundation's work is for the community, and it is sustained by the community.

The John David Mooney Foundation offers its programs and exhibitions on a complimentary basis to all. Its mission to create wholly accessible public platforms for creative and cross-cultural discourse in Chicago is accomplished thanks to the commitment of donors, volunteers, and advocates who give of their time, talent, and resources.

The Foundation also depends upon the generous monetary contributions of individuals, corporations, universities, and governments for its programming support. Giving opportunities include named scholarships and fellowships as well as sponsorship and underwriting opportunities for specific exhibitions and programs. Each and every dollar directly supports our programming efforts. While the Foundation is currently seeking to build an endowment, even the smallest offering makes a world of difference.

The Foundation staff extends its gratitude to the many individuals, corporations, and cultural institutions who have supported it in the past, including IBM, BellSouth, American Airlines, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Illinois Arts Council, the National Academy of Sciences, national governments and arts councils, civic groups, and Consulates sponsoring the International Currents exhibitions.
