Taqi Spateen is a contemporary painter and muralist, who received a 3 month Residency at the John David Mooney Foundation under our 'Artists at Risk Program. Born in Husan, Bethlehem his work is inspired by the Palestinian countryside and the displacement caused by Settler expansion.

About the event
Open to the public from August 27 to September 17, this exhibition showcases a collection of paintings all produced during Spateen's Residency at the John David Mooney Foundation.
Opening Night, Thursday, August 27 : Open 5:30pm and will include gallery tour around 7:00pm
